Meet Juniper, my most recent adorable (and adorably named) client. This little girl slept through most of her session like a champ and made my job really easy. She seems to know that all of her needs will be taken care of so she doesn't exactly put her all into crying. Just a little whine here and there. It was a total joy photographing her! If you're having a baby soon head over to my contact page and send me a message, I'd love to capture memories of you and your beautiful baby.
look at this sweet little chunk! Little Evelyn is here and she couldn't be cuter. Evelyn didn't want to sleep for us at first, Being a model is just too exciting, but eventually she fell asleep and let me take some photos. Her big sister is so proud and was very excited to hold the baby all by herself for photos. One of my favorite parts of my job is seeing the way big siblings adjust to having a baby in the house, some are nervous, some are proud, some are silly and can't wait until the baby is old enough to play but all of them have such a sweet look in their eyes when they look at their new baby brother or sister. If you or someone you know are expecting a baby soon head over to my contact page and tell me your due date. I only book a few newborns per month so don't wait!
This little baby was not happy about having her photo taken. Even though Anaisha was born early at only 4lbs 9oz she already has a big personality. For those who know me, this may ring a bell with you about my own 4lb 8oz baby who also has a very big personality and thinks she runs the show. Luckily, we had grandma with the magic hands near by to calm this little lady down. Even with her not so cooperative mood, Anaisha was a total joy to work with, (I mean, look at those cheeks!) Really, her whole family was super sweet and I'm so glad I got to meet them. Welcome to the world little Anaisha, keep that spunky spirit.
Take a look at this little cutie! His name is Auden and he is his mom and dad's first baby and his grandmother on his mom's side's first grandchild. Little Auden was wide awake for most of our shoot but he wasn't mad for most of it, just very curious about everything that was happening. The only thing that made him very angry was being unwrapped, this baby loves to be swaddled! But even when I have a baby that refuses to sleep for me I absolutely love this job. Who wouldn't? getting a chance to snuggle brand new little babies and photograph them in a way that captures such a short fleeting moment in a child's life. Our babies will never again be so tiny and snuggly and we never want to forget these moments when we were so tired but stayed up to watch them sleep.
Happy Birthday Declan! I can't believe this guy is already turning one! And what a sweet boy he's turning out to be. He's all smiles until you put a camera in front of your face. All he wanted to do during his shoot is show off his skills pulling up to stand and crawling all over the place. I think he'll be walking soon and I can't wait to see him toddling around on those chunky legs of his.
Sweet little Brenna is here and her big sister couldn't be happier. I photographed the two of them in their home in Tampa, FL and they were so sweet. Brenna was feeling a little nervous about all this weird stuff going on around her so she decided to stay awake and keep an eye on things. Unfortunately, that meant that by the time I left she was pretty exhausted. When it was big sister Isla's turn to join her sister she was such a big girl. She did her best to follow all of my directions and give her best smile. I think Brenna is a lucky girl to have a big sister like Isla to look out for her.
My babies are getting so big! Myla is 18 months old now and Jameson and Hadley are five. It's so hard to believe. I've been wanting to try shooting some glitter portraits and decided that Myla's 18 month shoot was the perfect time for it since I love experimenting on my kids. Of course, once Jameson and Hadley found out what I was planning they decided they had to join in. This was such a fun shoot and all three kids really loved it. The only thing I didn't love was the clean up but for photos like these, I think it was worth it. The baby days go by so fast, and before I know it, Myla won't be a baby any more (cue the tears). But, at least I'll have plenty of photos of her little chubby cheeks.
Sweet little Emmy is here! This little sweetie was so sleepy for her photos, she slept through almost the whole thing. But, just to make sure that I knew she didn't like it, she kept a grumpy face even when she was sleeping. Eventually though she relaxed and I got to see her sweet face without a scowl on. I've known Emmy's mom and dad for quite a few years and have photographed them a few times so it was so fun to be able to take photos of their very cute and very loved new baby girl.
Baby Jack is here. What an adorable, expressive little boy! When I first started photographing him he was wide awake, looking around at all this weird equipment I brought into his home and this machine that kept clicking in his face. He wasn't mad, just interested and giving me all kinds of cute and funny faces. But, he is brand new and after awhile he couldn't help but fall asleep. Even with only being there for a little while I can tell that little Jack brings a lot of joy into his home and I know he'll only continue to do so as he grows.
I just love gettin to see my client families grow! A few short years ago I photographer Ellie when she was a brand new little baby and now I photographed her little sister Emerson. Emerson is such a little sweetie and her big sister was proud and ready to have her photo taken. These four make such a great little family.
