This little baby was not happy about having her photo taken. Even though Anaisha was born early at only 4lbs 9oz she already has a big personality. For those who know me, this may ring a bell with you about my own 4lb 8oz baby who also has a very big personality and thinks she runs the show. Luckily, we had grandma with the magic hands near by to calm this little lady down. Even with her not so cooperative mood, Anaisha was a total joy to work with, (I mean, look at those cheeks!) Really, her whole family was super sweet and I'm so glad I got to meet them. Welcome to the world little Anaisha, keep that spunky spirit.
Sweet little Brenna is here and her big sister couldn't be happier. I photographed the two of them in their home in Tampa, FL and they were so sweet. Brenna was feeling a little nervous about all this weird stuff going on around her so she decided to stay awake and keep an eye on things. Unfortunately, that meant that by the time I left she was pretty exhausted. When it was big sister Isla's turn to join her sister she was such a big girl. She did her best to follow all of my directions and give her best smile. I think Brenna is a lucky girl to have a big sister like Isla to look out for her.
Sweet little Emmy is here! This little sweetie was so sleepy for her photos, she slept through almost the whole thing. But, just to make sure that I knew she didn't like it, she kept a grumpy face even when she was sleeping. Eventually though she relaxed and I got to see her sweet face without a scowl on. I've known Emmy's mom and dad for quite a few years and have photographed them a few times so it was so fun to be able to take photos of their very cute and very loved new baby girl.
Baby Jack is here. What an adorable, expressive little boy! When I first started photographing him he was wide awake, looking around at all this weird equipment I brought into his home and this machine that kept clicking in his face. He wasn't mad, just interested and giving me all kinds of cute and funny faces. But, he is brand new and after awhile he couldn't help but fall asleep. Even with only being there for a little while I can tell that little Jack brings a lot of joy into his home and I know he'll only continue to do so as he grows.
What a sweet little girl Camille is! She came to my home studio on Sunday with her daddy and her mommy who just so happens to be my second cousin. She is just the cutest little thing, so sweet and really calm. She's just so interested in what is going on around her. Of course, this means that she had a hard time sleeping during her shoot. The plus side of that is that we got plenty of open eyes looking right in to the camera.
Welcome to the world sweet Charlie! I first met this little boy's family when his big sister was born and since then I've met with them to document their growing family several times. And now that family has grown by one seriously cute little guy. Charlie wasn't particularly happy to have his photo taken but his big sister was over the moon about posing and also about being a big sister. While I swaddled Charlie, Nora leaned over him and kissed him on the head, then she laughed and said, "Charlie, I can't believe you." I'm looking forward to seeing little Charlie grow and change, congratulations to his family.
I love every sweet little baby I get to photograph but there is something very special about photographing a friend's baby. In this case, its the baby of two close friends that I have known for fourteen years! Little Declan decided to surprise his parents three weeks early and weighed in at 5lbs 12oz. He is just the sweetest most prefect sleepy baby who wants to do nothing but eat and be held. Congratulations to Declan's mommy and daddy welcome to the club.
My own little chunky girl is here! Myla was born on July 14th at 10lbs 8oz!!! More than her brother and sister combined. Right now I'm just enjoying my maternity leave with this little snuggle bunny. I'll be back to work October 15th just in time for Christmas card season. If you've been thinking about scheduling photos for the fall/winter season now is the time.
Take a look at this cute little chunky baby! Little miss Isabel was just eight days old when I met her and she is just as sweet as can be. When I first arrived she was very alert and interested in everything that was going on. Especially the bright lights and my big camera. But eventually she just couldn't keep her eyes open and drifted off to sleep. She is such a good and calm baby so far and I hope she keeps it up.

Welcome home little Charlotte! This little sweety was born at just 27 weeks at 2lbs 5oz. She is home now and doing just great, sleeping and growing a lot. She was so easy to work with, she mostly slept through the whole thing and when she did wake up she was pretty easy to calm down. So happy mother's day to Charlotte's mommy and to all the other moms who have been kind enough to let me be a part of such a special time in their baby's life.
If you or someone you know is expecting a little bundle of joy soon go to my contact page and shoot me a message. There is nothing I love more than helping parents capture these fleeting moments before they're gone.
