I can't believe my baby is already six months old! This little girl is a joy to have in our lives and to photograph. I whipped up this adorable onesie and bonnet specially for little myla's session. Something many of you may not know is that I knit most of the outfits I use in my photography. Since I make them myself I can take requests. if your living room is a certain color scheme and you would like your baby's photos to match or you really love teddy bears and want your little one to wear a sweet little bear hat just let me know! I can usually do it.
Wow! Charlotte is one year old! A few months ago I photographed this sweet little baby when she came home from the NICU. It was so amazing to see her again and see just how much she has grown and changed. One thing that has stayed the same though is her sweet disposition and her big beautiful eyes. If you are interested in having family photos taken, are pregnant, or have a baby send me an email. I would love to hear from you and plan the photography session of your dreams.
On an unusually cold Saturday morning in January Rachel and Ed said "I do" happily surrounded by friends and family. They chose to see each other before the wedding and it was such a beautiful moment that I was so happy to be present to capture. Although it is becoming much more common for brides and grooms to have a "first look" before their ceremony some still feel that it will ruin the moment of seeing the bride come down the aisle. Instead of thinking of it that way I would have couples think of it as a chance to have that moment privately (aside from your photographer). Rachel and Ed were able to hug and talk and after I snapped a few photos, have a moment to themselves. It was truly beautiful. During the ceremony, the bride had a big surprise for everyone. She rode to the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage! The looks on the faces of her guests were amazing. I hope that this great couple is always as in love as they were on their special day!
Well, the holiday season is coming to an end and its been a wild one at my house. But then, every day with a five month old and two four month olds is a wild one. I hope yours was great and I hope you were able to capture photos of lots of happy smiling faces. I know many of you were celebrating your first holiday as a married couple or your baby's first holiday. while you're recovering from the craziness of the holidays and hunkering down from the cold I know that scheduling a photography session is the last thing on your mind. But, before you know it spring will be here and with it, flowers. In my opinion, there is almost nothing more beautiful than a photo session in a field of wild flowers. Don't miss out on scheduling a spring session, the wildflowers won't last long. And now, I'm going to shamelessly show off my kids.
