These little girls gave me a run for my money but don't twins always do that. Those of you who knew me when my twins were little probably remember me going around like a half asleep zombie. However, it does eventually get better and easier and that was definitely my experience photographing little Alice and Rose. At first Alice was sleeping like a dream but Rose was very angry with the whole idea. Then they switched. But eventually everything fell into place and these little girls finally decided to show me how cute their little faces look when they're not pouting. Every time I shoot twins it brings me back to when mine were little, there's nothing like two little babies snuggled up together.
Welcome to the world Ries and Pippa! Could these little girls be any more perfect? They made their appearance a little bit early at 34 weeks and 5 days but are healthy and thriving and their parents seem totally in love with them. And also surprisingly calm and put together for having newborn twins. I'm pretty sure I was a frazzled mess when my twins were this little. At first neither baby was at all happy about getting their photos taken. They were wide awake and cranky, but after awhile they settled down into a deep sleep and let me capture some really sweet moments.
and since having TWO newborns isn't just gazing at sleeping little cherubs, here's a photo of the proud dad realizing that his little girl is peeing on him.

Welcome to the world Charles and Jonathan! I met these two little cuties yesterday and it made me both miss my twins when they were little and glad that I don't have two newborns anymore. They had a hard time settling but we managed to capture some pretty cute looks from them. Although, I don't think they were both asleep at the same time through the entire session. Which, if you think about it pretty much sums up life with newborn twins.
