Emmy is One! Time flies, it feels like I just did her six month shoot! Of course, little Emmy decided to skip nap time on the day of our shoot so she wasn't in her best mood but we made do and still managed to get plenty of cute photos. Plus, you can't be mad at this little face even if she is crying while she eats her cake. Emmy, I'm looking forward to your birthday party, I can't believe how big you are now.
Who doesn't love a photo of a gorgeous glowing mom-to-be? A few months back I helped Liza and Kris announce their pregnancy and yesterday I met with them again to capture them as Liza's pregnancy comes towards the end. The final weeks of pregnancy are a difficult time for mothers, your feet are swollen, you constantly have to pee, and you are just generally uncomfortable but at the same time it is a truly amazing time. You connected to your baby in a way you never will be again, it is a time to be still and to appreciate the new life that is about to begin. It is my job to document this crazy time and to show pregnant mothers as the works of art they truly are. I can't wait to meet this little girl and I know her parents can't either.
I cannot believe how big this boy is getting. I first met his family before he was born and I've been lucky enough to visit with him every three months since then. And now he's nine months old! He's always been a very agreeable baby and so smily. He wasn't very happy at the beginning of this session, he was a little bit hungry and the wind was blowing like crazy, but in the end he was the same happy boy he usually is. Kathleen and Tom's Wedding Photos at Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort in St Pete Beach - Sneak Peek11/14/2016 This Sunday Kathleen and Tom were married in St Petersburg Florida on November 12, 2016. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a beach wedding with a cool breeze blowing off the gulf. Not only have Tom and Kathleen found love with each other but they really seem to have truly brought their two families together. Their romantic ceremony transitioned seamlessly into a fun reception where the dance floor was never empty. And I mean never! the groom wouldn't allow it. As Kathleen and Tom spend their honeymoon lounging on the beach I hope they'll have many years together as happy as they were on their wedding day.
I met Phillip and Megan a little while back at Phillip's sister's maternity photography session. Here's a photo of Phillip helping his sister look majestic, it makes me laugh every time. So it was really nice to see them again and meet their dogs. I love shooting at Howard Park because you have such a big variety of looks in one location. Within just a little bit of walking and driving you have pine forests, beach, gardens, trails. and parks. Aubrey and Jeremy were married this weekend in a friend's gorgeous backyard overlooking the Homosassa River. It looked like we would be rained out. It started pouring about an hour before the wedding was supposed to start and it didn't look like it was going to let up. The minutes ticked by and the bride and groom were trying to decide if they should bite the bullet and move the ceremony to the reception site or keep waiting. Just as they were making the sad decision that they had to move the rain suddenly stopped! It was clear for the rest of their perfect day. After a ceremony that not only included the bride and groom but also the bride's daughter Carli and the groom's children Aubrey, Brooklyn, and Garrett we headed over to The Seagrass Waterfront Restaurant and Resort for the reception. But the party wasn't over after that, the whole group hopped into a few boats to go to the springs and swim for the rest of the day. Congratulations Grangers!!
I had so much fun meeting with Kat and her entourage for her Maternity Photos this weekend. She was such a good sport and up for anything we wanted to try. She also came with some very helpful assistants/dress throwers. When I first met with her a few weeks ago she was still so little that I didn't realize she was the one I was meeting because she didn't look pregnant. Luckily she's popped a bit since then but I still had to have her push her belly out a few times. I can't wait to meet her little boy in a few weeks to take his photos too!
The Gregones family was visiting Crystal River from New York to swim with the manatee and while they were here I met up with them at The Plantation Inn to take their photo. Even though both kids were sick we still managed to have a good time.
I was so excited for this one. Donald contacted me to capture the very special moment when he proposed to his girlfriend (spoiler Alert, now Fiancee) at Sand Key Park in Clearwater. I hung back as they walked along the beach and she never noticed her paparazzi as he proposed. Afterward I shot a few more photos of the happy couple
