Its rare to see a couple who seem to go together as well as Monique and Terrence do. From the moment I arrived to photograph Monique and her girls getting ready until the end of the night there was not one tense moment. And it wasn't just the two of them, everyone around them seemed so genuinely happy for them and ready to celebrate their love. After a sweet outdoor ceremony where Monique and Terrence recited their own vows we headed inside the Rusty Pelican for a fun reception with lots of dancing and laughter. I hope that the bride and groom look back on this day as just the first of many happy days as husband and wife and are always as comfortable together and as surrounded by love and support as they were on this day. Congratulations you too!
Congratulations Tammi and Don! These two tied the knot on Cinco De Mayo in an intimate ceremony with close family. The whole day was laid back and low key enough for them to focus on their love and the fact that they just became husband and wife! I wish them so much joy and happiness in their future and many many years together. If you are getting married soon or know someone who is click over to my contact page and email me. I'd love to hear about what you're planning and be a part of it
Congratulations Greg and Janna! Saturday was a gorgeous day for a wedding at The Springs in Longwood, north of Orlando. The day started off hot but by the time the wedding began it had started to cool off and it was truly beautiful weather for an outdoor wedding. Janna and Greg are such a fun and genuine couple and I just loved the way they included Janna's daughter Madison in the ceremony. Including when Greg surprised her with a special necklace. After the Ceremony (and a few photos) it was party time. Everyone had a great time and I hope Janna and Greg have many more to come!
Kelley and Michael were married on Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando followed by a reception at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto. It was an absolutely gorgeous day with clear blue skies and temperatures cool enough to be comfortable without being cold. The love between this bride and groom was palpable and made my job so much easier. They're also a very fun couple and were not only willing to try out some fun and silly poses but even had ideas of their own for lighthearted photos. I hope they have a long and happy marriage and are always as connected as they were on this special day. If you're getting married or know someone who is and would like Karah Couch Photography to be a part of your big day go to my contacts page and send me an email. I'd love to talk to you.
Congratulations Ami and Trent! It was so great to be a part of your big day. I first met Ami and Trent back in May for their engagement photos and they are one of the most laid back and happy couples I've worked with. They're from Virginia but they chose to get married here and introduce their guests to the manatee! Every detail of their wedding included an element of fun. Instead of vows they had trust falls and their guests made a tunnel for them to run through when they came back down the aisle.
I first met Ella and Terrance when Ella was pregnant with their son Christopher and they were planning their wedding.(see their shoot here) As soon as I met them I could tell that they are just genuine, warm, and fun people who are so truly in love. Their wedding day was no different. When I arrived to photograph Ella getting ready there was a full house of friends and family there to support and celebrate with her. At the venue, there was no detail forgotten, from the ceremony on through the reception, everything was elegant pink and gold. I hope Ella and Terrance are as happy in the rest of their life together as they were on their wedding day and that their love for each other supports them through any troubles they encounter.
It seems that Florida decided to have only one day of winter this year and it was on December 30th which just so happened to be Sheryl and Paul's wedding day. But even with a little chill in the air it was a beautiful day. In case the photo above didn't tip you off, the groom is Scottish and they chose to incorporate many Scottish wedding tradions into their big day. Of course there were the kilts, many of the American men had a fun experience wearing those for the first time. The bride also wore a sash made from her husband's tartan to symbolize that she was becoming a part of his family. During the Ceremony was the quaich, a ceremony in which the bride and groom share their first drink as a married couple. But for myself, and I think for their guests also, the best tradition they carried over was the dancing. It was so funny watching everyone try their hand at traditional Scottish dancing; which if you've never done it, is very fast and very fun. Strip the Willow was the biggest hit of the night, so fun for everyone that they did it twice. But beyond all of that, the thing I really took away from this wedding is that Sheryl and Paul truly love eachother and I wish them all the luck in the world.
Moriah and William's Wedding Photography at Citrus Hills Country Club in Hernando Fl - Sneak Peek11/15/2016 November 13th 2016 Moriah and William became husband and wife! The day was truly gorgeous and everyone seemed so happy. There were many tears during the ceremony as everyone watching was just brimming with emotion. From the moment the reception began it was party time! The dance floor didn't empty until the reception was over. I hope Moriah and William have many long and happy years together and I just know they will.
Kathleen and Tom's Wedding Photos at Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort in St Pete Beach - Sneak Peek11/14/2016 This Sunday Kathleen and Tom were married in St Petersburg Florida on November 12, 2016. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a beach wedding with a cool breeze blowing off the gulf. Not only have Tom and Kathleen found love with each other but they really seem to have truly brought their two families together. Their romantic ceremony transitioned seamlessly into a fun reception where the dance floor was never empty. And I mean never! the groom wouldn't allow it. As Kathleen and Tom spend their honeymoon lounging on the beach I hope they'll have many years together as happy as they were on their wedding day.
When a couple is truly in love you can just tell. Elise and Randy are truly in love. You can see it in the way they look at each other, and more than that, you can see it in the way they have brought their two families together. Elise and Randy were already married but they decided they still wanted to have the big celebration with their friends and family so they had the freedom to do things a little differently. For example, they chose to see each other before the ceremony (see below for photos of Randy seeing Elise for the first time) and Elise's dad officiated the ceremony. I wish Randy and Elise a long, happy life together!!
