It was so great to see this little chunker again! I first met Sean jr's mom when she was pregnant and hired me to shoot her maternity photos at Howard Park I instantly felt like our taste in photography really meshed and they trusted me to get great images for them. So I met with them again for baby Sean's Newborn Photos. He wasn't very happy about getting his photo taken then but he seems to have come around to it now. He was such a little cutie smiling for the camera and letting me put all kind of cute little hats and ties on him, I just love it.
I know what you're thinking, I can't think about Christmas photos now! Its not even Halloween yet! I know, I know. But hear me out. October, November, and December are the busiest months of the year for photographers. Everyone wants to get beautiful yearly portraits this time of year either for their christmas cards or just because its when they've always done them. I do my best to fit everyone in but if you want your first choice of date you really have to book ahead of time. Also, keep in mind that if you want to order christmas cards and get them out in time you'll have to factor the time for that in. So, there's one week from the day we take your photos until your viewing appointment, then another week for me to design, print, and get your cards to you, then give yourself at least a few day to a week to address them, then another few days to a week for them to all get delivered. That adds up to 3-4 weeks!! So, now is the time to book!
Click Here to send me an email and get the ball rolling. For those of you who've stuck around this long I have some pretty cool stuff to show you. This year I've designed custom Christmas Cards for my clients. I might be biased but I think they came out pretty gorgeous. I can't wait to start ordering them for you guys! I met Phillip and Megan a little while back at Phillip's sister's maternity photography session. Here's a photo of Phillip helping his sister look majestic, it makes me laugh every time. So it was really nice to see them again and meet their dogs. I love shooting at Howard Park because you have such a big variety of looks in one location. Within just a little bit of walking and driving you have pine forests, beach, gardens, trails. and parks. Its important to me that I'm always pushing myself to be creative and see the beauty in the world around me. Not only is it fulfilling and fun for me but I believe that it makes me better at my job also. For photographers, it can be easy to fall into patterns in our sessions doing the same things every time. Thats why I do personal creative projects, when I'm always pushing myself it makes it easier to do the same for my clients. I recently started getting in to macro photography which for those of you who don't know is basically extreme close up photography. I just load the kids in the stroller and take a walk around the neighborhood. It's been great! So here are a few of my favorites, let me know in the comments about your creative projects.
I met this little guy yesterday and I just do not think he could be any cuter. Trey was happy as long as I didn't put any hats on him or make him lay on his tummy. Trey was born early like my little ones but you'd never know it now. He cooed and gurgled through the whole session which was so fun. Trey's parents are good friends with the parent's of another baby I've photographed, Baby Sean. In fact, Sean and Trey were born at the same time, I have a feeling they're going to be great friends!
