When I arrived at little Jasper's house he was sleeping peacefully. However, that was all a trick. As I finished setting up he decided he needed to eat, pee, and poop twice. In all seriousness, once he was done with all the pooping he was a little angel. He slept peacefully for me even when the dog licked his face, which you can see below. He is such a sweet baby who in some ways reminds me of when my own sweet boy was little. I'm so glad I got to meet this family and document Jasper when he was just a little thing. Before they know it he'll be big.
I met this little cutie this past weekend along with her mommy, daddy, and grandma and I haven't stopped looking at her photos since. Isn't she just adorable. Even though Everly did not much enjoy getting her photo taken you can't really tell. For most of the shoot Everly looked at me and at her mom but refused to go to sleep. Since she was pretty happy, I was happy to keep shooting. Then she fell asleep for a short while (during which I took many adorable photos). Then, She woke up MAD! After that she was really only happy if mom or dad was holding her which was great because it was time to take family photos anyway. Of course, as I walked out the door she was dozing again, isn't that just how babies are. Anyway, this little girl is super cute so enjoy a sneak peek of little Everly, If you or someone you know is pregnant or recently had a baby and you're interested in booking a newborn shoot with me head on over to my Contact Me page and shoot me an email. I would love to meet you and your baby.
Emmy is One! Time flies, it feels like I just did her six month shoot! Of course, little Emmy decided to skip nap time on the day of our shoot so she wasn't in her best mood but we made do and still managed to get plenty of cute photos. Plus, you can't be mad at this little face even if she is crying while she eats her cake. Emmy, I'm looking forward to your birthday party, I can't believe how big you are now.
This past weekend I photographed this little cutie named Theo. Theo is probably one of the chillest babies I have ever met. Even when he was awake for part of the shoot he pretty much just looked around, not wanting to miss anything while i posed him. He didn't even really cry the entire three hours I was with him, just the occasional whine. I really enjoyed meeting theo and his family! One of those rare relaxed and easy shoots.
Sweet little Emmy is here! This little sweetie was so sleepy for her photos, she slept through almost the whole thing. But, just to make sure that I knew she didn't like it, she kept a grumpy face even when she was sleeping. Eventually though she relaxed and I got to see her sweet face without a scowl on. I've known Emmy's mom and dad for quite a few years and have photographed them a few times so it was so fun to be able to take photos of their very cute and very loved new baby girl.
Baby Jack is here. What an adorable, expressive little boy! When I first started photographing him he was wide awake, looking around at all this weird equipment I brought into his home and this machine that kept clicking in his face. He wasn't mad, just interested and giving me all kinds of cute and funny faces. But, he is brand new and after awhile he couldn't help but fall asleep. Even with only being there for a little while I can tell that little Jack brings a lot of joy into his home and I know he'll only continue to do so as he grows.
Welcome to the world sweet Charlie! I first met this little boy's family when his big sister was born and since then I've met with them to document their growing family several times. And now that family has grown by one seriously cute little guy. Charlie wasn't particularly happy to have his photo taken but his big sister was over the moon about posing and also about being a big sister. While I swaddled Charlie, Nora leaned over him and kissed him on the head, then she laughed and said, "Charlie, I can't believe you." I'm looking forward to seeing little Charlie grow and change, congratulations to his family.
I first met this wonderful family when their little girl Ellie was born and now they have a second little girl on the way! One of my favorite parts of my job is being invited back in to see my newborn clients again. Ellie has grown into a funny, sweet little ham who was happy to be in front of my camera but only if she could do her own poses. Her parent's were relaxed and let her enjoy herself so the whole family was really a pleasure to shoot. No stress, just beautiful family photos before the family gets a little bigger. And can I just say, look at that adorable baby bump! I can't wait to meet their new little one when she makes her appearance around Christmas and capture some photos of the proud new big sister. If you or someone you know has a baby on the way, head over to my contact page and send me a message. The months of November and December are already fully booked with January heading that way so don't wait!
I can't believe this boy is not a baby anymore! I've been photographing Bubba since he was a newborn and since the last time I saw him he has definitely made the transition from baby to toddler. Since little man is at that age where he is always on the go we decided to photograph him doing what he does best, playing. As soon as I walked in to his backyard he started running around showing me all his toys and his favorite things to do. At the same time he was being such a little ham smiling for the camera. Not only was it great to celebrate another year in Bubba's life, but this family also had another big deal to celebrate. Mary, bubba's grandmother beat breast cancer this year!
AJ is turning one! I had such a great time photographing this sweet little man. Not only do I love to set up a fun theme, like AJ's cute fishing themed set, but he is just such a cutie. As soon as his mom walked up to to introduce herself AJ reached his arms out to me so that he could meet me too. Although the Florida heat and humidity was in classic form for our session I had a great time getting to know this cute little guy and his parents. First birthdays are so important and special, I love that I get to be a part of such great milestones. Happy First Birthday AJ!
