I don't think this little girl could be any sweeter. There is nothing I love more than a chunky newborn baby. okay, maybe one thing, and that's a chunky newborn baby that sleeps through her session. For this session I really wanted to keep things clean and modern. Nothing too fussy, just a focus on a beautiful new baby and her proud family. With a baby girl I love to include pops of color, in this case pink, without going crazy with it. a little bit of pale pink goes a long way. I am so lucky to be invited into a family's home during this special time right after the birth of their baby. I only take on up to 10 newborn sessions a week in order to make sure I can give each session the attention it deserves so if you're thinking of booking email me now before I fill up.
. Its always so special to get to go back and see one of my newborn clients when they become a big brother or big sister. Which is exactly what I got to do with this adorable session in the Westchase neighborhood of Tampa, FL. Little Charlotte was just the sweetest little girl and her big brother could not have been more proud to show off his baby sister. One of the best parts of having more than one child is seeing the relationship between your kiddos. They may fight but the sweet moments make up for it. These sweet moments only last so long and those of us with multiple children know how difficult it is to find the time to schedule things like newborn sessions when you are also juggling your child or toddler's schedule. But it is so worth it. Plus, I do all my newborn sessions in your home! no packing everyone up and driving to a studio, I bring the studio to you! So head over to My Contact page and send me an email. It's never too late to get yourself on the schedule because I only book 10 babies a month maximum.
When I arrived at little Jasper's house he was sleeping peacefully. However, that was all a trick. As I finished setting up he decided he needed to eat, pee, and poop twice. In all seriousness, once he was done with all the pooping he was a little angel. He slept peacefully for me even when the dog licked his face, which you can see below. He is such a sweet baby who in some ways reminds me of when my own sweet boy was little. I'm so glad I got to meet this family and document Jasper when he was just a little thing. Before they know it he'll be big.
These little girls gave me a run for my money but don't twins always do that. Those of you who knew me when my twins were little probably remember me going around like a half asleep zombie. However, it does eventually get better and easier and that was definitely my experience photographing little Alice and Rose. At first Alice was sleeping like a dream but Rose was very angry with the whole idea. Then they switched. But eventually everything fell into place and these little girls finally decided to show me how cute their little faces look when they're not pouting. Every time I shoot twins it brings me back to when mine were little, there's nothing like two little babies snuggled up together.
I met this little cutie this past weekend along with her mommy, daddy, and grandma and I haven't stopped looking at her photos since. Isn't she just adorable. Even though Everly did not much enjoy getting her photo taken you can't really tell. For most of the shoot Everly looked at me and at her mom but refused to go to sleep. Since she was pretty happy, I was happy to keep shooting. Then she fell asleep for a short while (during which I took many adorable photos). Then, She woke up MAD! After that she was really only happy if mom or dad was holding her which was great because it was time to take family photos anyway. Of course, as I walked out the door she was dozing again, isn't that just how babies are. Anyway, this little girl is super cute so enjoy a sneak peek of little Everly, If you or someone you know is pregnant or recently had a baby and you're interested in booking a newborn shoot with me head on over to my Contact Me page and shoot me an email. I would love to meet you and your baby.
This past weekend I photographed this little cutie named Theo. Theo is probably one of the chillest babies I have ever met. Even when he was awake for part of the shoot he pretty much just looked around, not wanting to miss anything while i posed him. He didn't even really cry the entire three hours I was with him, just the occasional whine. I really enjoyed meeting theo and his family! One of those rare relaxed and easy shoots.
This little baby was not happy about having her photo taken. Even though Anaisha was born early at only 4lbs 9oz she already has a big personality. For those who know me, this may ring a bell with you about my own 4lb 8oz baby who also has a very big personality and thinks she runs the show. Luckily, we had grandma with the magic hands near by to calm this little lady down. Even with her not so cooperative mood, Anaisha was a total joy to work with, (I mean, look at those cheeks!) Really, her whole family was super sweet and I'm so glad I got to meet them. Welcome to the world little Anaisha, keep that spunky spirit.
Sweet little Brenna is here and her big sister couldn't be happier. I photographed the two of them in their home in Tampa, FL and they were so sweet. Brenna was feeling a little nervous about all this weird stuff going on around her so she decided to stay awake and keep an eye on things. Unfortunately, that meant that by the time I left she was pretty exhausted. When it was big sister Isla's turn to join her sister she was such a big girl. She did her best to follow all of my directions and give her best smile. I think Brenna is a lucky girl to have a big sister like Isla to look out for her.
Sweet little Emmy is here! This little sweetie was so sleepy for her photos, she slept through almost the whole thing. But, just to make sure that I knew she didn't like it, she kept a grumpy face even when she was sleeping. Eventually though she relaxed and I got to see her sweet face without a scowl on. I've known Emmy's mom and dad for quite a few years and have photographed them a few times so it was so fun to be able to take photos of their very cute and very loved new baby girl.
Baby Jack is here. What an adorable, expressive little boy! When I first started photographing him he was wide awake, looking around at all this weird equipment I brought into his home and this machine that kept clicking in his face. He wasn't mad, just interested and giving me all kinds of cute and funny faces. But, he is brand new and after awhile he couldn't help but fall asleep. Even with only being there for a little while I can tell that little Jack brings a lot of joy into his home and I know he'll only continue to do so as he grows.
