Baby Jack is here. What an adorable, expressive little boy! When I first started photographing him he was wide awake, looking around at all this weird equipment I brought into his home and this machine that kept clicking in his face. He wasn't mad, just interested and giving me all kinds of cute and funny faces. But, he is brand new and after awhile he couldn't help but fall asleep. Even with only being there for a little while I can tell that little Jack brings a lot of joy into his home and I know he'll only continue to do so as he grows.
What a sweet little girl Camille is! She came to my home studio on Sunday with her daddy and her mommy who just so happens to be my second cousin. She is just the cutest little thing, so sweet and really calm. She's just so interested in what is going on around her. Of course, this means that she had a hard time sleeping during her shoot. The plus side of that is that we got plenty of open eyes looking right in to the camera.
Welcome to the world sweet Charlie! I first met this little boy's family when his big sister was born and since then I've met with them to document their growing family several times. And now that family has grown by one seriously cute little guy. Charlie wasn't particularly happy to have his photo taken but his big sister was over the moon about posing and also about being a big sister. While I swaddled Charlie, Nora leaned over him and kissed him on the head, then she laughed and said, "Charlie, I can't believe you." I'm looking forward to seeing little Charlie grow and change, congratulations to his family.
Who doesn't love a photo of a gorgeous glowing mom-to-be? A few months back I helped Liza and Kris announce their pregnancy and yesterday I met with them again to capture them as Liza's pregnancy comes towards the end. The final weeks of pregnancy are a difficult time for mothers, your feet are swollen, you constantly have to pee, and you are just generally uncomfortable but at the same time it is a truly amazing time. You connected to your baby in a way you never will be again, it is a time to be still and to appreciate the new life that is about to begin. It is my job to document this crazy time and to show pregnant mothers as the works of art they truly are. I can't wait to meet this little girl and I know her parents can't either.
I first met this wonderful family when their little girl Ellie was born and now they have a second little girl on the way! One of my favorite parts of my job is being invited back in to see my newborn clients again. Ellie has grown into a funny, sweet little ham who was happy to be in front of my camera but only if she could do her own poses. Her parent's were relaxed and let her enjoy herself so the whole family was really a pleasure to shoot. No stress, just beautiful family photos before the family gets a little bigger. And can I just say, look at that adorable baby bump! I can't wait to meet their new little one when she makes her appearance around Christmas and capture some photos of the proud new big sister. If you or someone you know has a baby on the way, head over to my contact page and send me a message. The months of November and December are already fully booked with January heading that way so don't wait!
Happy first birthday Francesco! This little guy was such a sweetie and so are his parents and big brother. Francesco was feeling a little bit shy but he warmed up after awhile. He is much younger than his older brother and came along just when his parent's were sure their baby days were over. He has brought so much joy to their family, you can really see it in their eyes. In order to celebrate, his parents decided to recreate some photos that his brother Giovanni took when he was one. Francesco had other ideas in mind but we managed to capture a few. Including a few shots containing the same hat Giovanni wore in his photos, unfortunately Francesco's head is a little bigger than his brother's so we sat it next to him.
I can't believe this boy is not a baby anymore! I've been photographing Bubba since he was a newborn and since the last time I saw him he has definitely made the transition from baby to toddler. Since little man is at that age where he is always on the go we decided to photograph him doing what he does best, playing. As soon as I walked in to his backyard he started running around showing me all his toys and his favorite things to do. At the same time he was being such a little ham smiling for the camera. Not only was it great to celebrate another year in Bubba's life, but this family also had another big deal to celebrate. Mary, bubba's grandmother beat breast cancer this year!
My own littlest baby is one year old! I just can't believe how fast the last year has flown by. I'm amazed every day by this spunky little girl. She's absolutely fearless and loves everyone she meets. She brings joy to all of us around her, especially her big brother and sister who absolutely adore her. Watching their little faces light up when she smiles at them or laughs when they're silly makes my day every time. I can't wait to see what the next year has in store for my little baby, I just wish she would stay a baby just a little bit longer.
I can't believe little Declan is already six months old! It seems like i just shot his newborn photos yesterday. This little man is so sweet and I love getting to see him. Declan is learning to sit up and enjoying trying out solid food and showing off his tummy time skills. Although he didn't enjoy changing clothes he cooperated great for his photo shoot and gave me lots of sweet little baby smiles. I'm so lucky that I get to watch this little guy grow up.
