It was so nice meeting little Harper Grace and her mom and dad last weekend. She is one month old and so sweet. She was calm and wide awake at first, very interested in the big bright lights I set up in her living room. After awhile she took a little cat nap for me and was surprisingly easy to move around without waking her up. Then when she woke up from her nap and realized I was still taking photos of her she let me know pretty quickly that she was done with this. I love a girl who speaks her mind! As much as I wore her out that day I hope she was nice and sleepy for mom and dad that night, they deserve it. If you or someone you know is expecting a baby soon head over to my contact page and shoot me an email. Make sure to include the due date (or if baby is already here, birth date) I'd love to meet your little one and create beautiful heirlooms for your family to treasure.
I had the great honor of photographing this little beauty on Saturday. Her name is Claire, she's two weeks old, and she is such a cutie. Its always so fun to meet new babies and learn what they like and what they don't and get to capture their unique little selves. Claire wasn't the sleepiest little baby I've ever met but most of the time she was awake she was very calm and just wanted to look around and see what was happening. Towards the end of the session she let us know she was done and only wanted to be held by her mommy, I like a girl who speaks her mind. If you're expecting a baby or know someone who is go to my Contact Page and send a quick email, make sure to give me your due date. I would love to meet your baby and capture these precious moments before they're gone.
Happy Birthday Nora! It's hard to believe that this little girl is already one! I first met Nora when she was just a tiny little newborn and then I photographed her again when she was six months old. Its always great to get to see my newborns grow and change, It amazes me every time. This time we decided to meet at AI Lopez Park in Tampa. Its such a cute little park and a nice place to shoot. It also helped that Nora was in a pretty great mood. She was a little hesitant at first but she just wanted to scope the situation out and make sure everything was ok. Once she felt comfortable she was ready to go. I've really enjoyed watching this little cutie grow over the past year into such an inquisitive and sweet little girl and I hope to keep watching. If your little one has a big Milestone coming up let Karah Couch Photography be a part of it and capture these special moments forever. Head over to my Contact Page and send me an email. Your baby is only little for a little while so hurry
I cannot believe how big this boy is getting. I first met his family before he was born and I've been lucky enough to visit with him every three months since then. And now he's nine months old! He's always been a very agreeable baby and so smily. He wasn't very happy at the beginning of this session, he was a little bit hungry and the wind was blowing like crazy, but in the end he was the same happy boy he usually is. Congratulations Morgans! Latoya and Edward were married on Friday at the Courthouse in Downtown tampa with their family around them. Afterwards the whole group walked down to Curtis Hixon Park for photos. Everyone was so happy for them and they couldn't have seemed happier themselves. I hope the two of them have many many happy years and smiles ahead of them.
It was so much fun to meet and photograph the Silvares family. They were such a great group. We met at The University of Tampa which has such a beautiful campus that its quickly becoming one of my favorite locations to shoot. And can I just say that all three dogs were ridiculously well behaved especially for being surrounded by other people, squirrels, and cats. I'm so glad I was lucky enough to meet this relaxed and happy group while everyone was in one place.
It seems that Florida decided to have only one day of winter this year and it was on December 30th which just so happened to be Sheryl and Paul's wedding day. But even with a little chill in the air it was a beautiful day. In case the photo above didn't tip you off, the groom is Scottish and they chose to incorporate many Scottish wedding tradions into their big day. Of course there were the kilts, many of the American men had a fun experience wearing those for the first time. The bride also wore a sash made from her husband's tartan to symbolize that she was becoming a part of his family. During the Ceremony was the quaich, a ceremony in which the bride and groom share their first drink as a married couple. But for myself, and I think for their guests also, the best tradition they carried over was the dancing. It was so funny watching everyone try their hand at traditional Scottish dancing; which if you've never done it, is very fast and very fun. Strip the Willow was the biggest hit of the night, so fun for everyone that they did it twice. But beyond all of that, the thing I really took away from this wedding is that Sheryl and Paul truly love eachother and I wish them all the luck in the world.
I can't believe this little guy is one already!! I feel like it was just a few weeks ago that I was photographing him with his older brother and he was just a little baby. He's family so I have seen him since then but its still flown by (just like everything else this year!) Now he's walking! he wasn't so sure about this whole photography thing. He wanted to be held but we kept at it (and pulled out some yogurt melt bribes) and he let us capture a few goofy grins and sweet looks. Don't grow up so fast Joey!!
Welcome to the world Ries and Pippa! Could these little girls be any more perfect? They made their appearance a little bit early at 34 weeks and 5 days but are healthy and thriving and their parents seem totally in love with them. And also surprisingly calm and put together for having newborn twins. I'm pretty sure I was a frazzled mess when my twins were this little. At first neither baby was at all happy about getting their photos taken. They were wide awake and cranky, but after awhile they settled down into a deep sleep and let me capture some really sweet moments. and since having TWO newborns isn't just gazing at sleeping little cherubs, here's a photo of the proud dad realizing that his little girl is peeing on him. A little over six months ago I met little Nora as a tiny adorable newborn baby. I couldn't believe it when her mommy emailed me to say she is six months old now! She's still just as adorable but much bigger. She's sitting up, crawling, and has the chunkiest little legs. Today was actually our second attempt at taking her photos, last weekend we were rained out in a torrential downpour. Things were much dryer and more pleasant today. I always feel so lucky when I get to see my newborn clients again!
