Congratulations Morgans! Latoya and Edward were married on Friday at the Courthouse in Downtown tampa with their family around them. Afterwards the whole group walked down to Curtis Hixon Park for photos. Everyone was so happy for them and they couldn't have seemed happier themselves. I hope the two of them have many many happy years and smiles ahead of them.
I first met Ella and Terrance when Ella was pregnant with their son Christopher and they were planning their wedding.(see their shoot here) As soon as I met them I could tell that they are just genuine, warm, and fun people who are so truly in love. Their wedding day was no different. When I arrived to photograph Ella getting ready there was a full house of friends and family there to support and celebrate with her. At the venue, there was no detail forgotten, from the ceremony on through the reception, everything was elegant pink and gold. I hope Ella and Terrance are as happy in the rest of their life together as they were on their wedding day and that their love for each other supports them through any troubles they encounter.
It was so much fun to meet and photograph the Silvares family. They were such a great group. We met at The University of Tampa which has such a beautiful campus that its quickly becoming one of my favorite locations to shoot. And can I just say that all three dogs were ridiculously well behaved especially for being surrounded by other people, squirrels, and cats. I'm so glad I was lucky enough to meet this relaxed and happy group while everyone was in one place.
Moriah and William's Wedding Photography at Citrus Hills Country Club in Hernando Fl - Sneak Peek11/15/2016 November 13th 2016 Moriah and William became husband and wife! The day was truly gorgeous and everyone seemed so happy. There were many tears during the ceremony as everyone watching was just brimming with emotion. From the moment the reception began it was party time! The dance floor didn't empty until the reception was over. I hope Moriah and William have many long and happy years together and I just know they will.
Kathleen and Tom's Wedding Photos at Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort in St Pete Beach - Sneak Peek11/14/2016 This Sunday Kathleen and Tom were married in St Petersburg Florida on November 12, 2016. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a beach wedding with a cool breeze blowing off the gulf. Not only have Tom and Kathleen found love with each other but they really seem to have truly brought their two families together. Their romantic ceremony transitioned seamlessly into a fun reception where the dance floor was never empty. And I mean never! the groom wouldn't allow it. As Kathleen and Tom spend their honeymoon lounging on the beach I hope they'll have many years together as happy as they were on their wedding day.
When a couple is truly in love you can just tell. Elise and Randy are truly in love. You can see it in the way they look at each other, and more than that, you can see it in the way they have brought their two families together. Elise and Randy were already married but they decided they still wanted to have the big celebration with their friends and family so they had the freedom to do things a little differently. For example, they chose to see each other before the ceremony (see below for photos of Randy seeing Elise for the first time) and Elise's dad officiated the ceremony. I wish Randy and Elise a long, happy life together!!
With all their friends and family around them Penelope and Steven were married on Saturday October 15th 2016. Both the bride and the groom had tears in their eyes when they said their "I do's" at the beautiful Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park. There were a few bumps in the road on the wedding day, broken zippers, broken elevators, and rain early in the day. But once the ceremony began everyone forgot all about those things. I just know that Penelope and Steven have a long and happy marriage ahead of them and lots of people to share their happiness with.
On October 8th 2016 Brad and Juliana became husband and wife and I was lucky enough to be there to witness it. Despite the fact that many parts of Florida were still recovering from hurricane Mathew including areas where many of the guests were coming from the day went off without a hitch. I have been able to be a part of many wedding days and I don't think I have ever encountered such a relaxed couple. They seemed so in love and so ready to be married that I didn't see a lot of nervousness from either of them. The wedding took place in Orlando so as is fitting it was subtly disney themed.
Ella and Terrence's Engagement and Maternity Photos at Curtis Hixon Park in Tampa - Sneak Peek9/12/2016 It seemed like everything was going wrong for this shoot. It was swelteringly hot, Ella and Terrence were stuck behind an accident, and then it started to rain! But then, just like that everything was back on track! The rain cleared (and took some of the people in the park with it) The clients got there, and well, it stayed hot but still! Ella and Terrence were awesome to work with. They were up for anything and really seemed to enjoy themselves, basically the holy grail for photographers. Plus, could Ella seriously be glowing any more than she is! She's going to make an absolutely gorgeous bride, Terrence is a lucky man.
On Saturday Shannon, Taylor, and their families and friends joined together at Pebble Creek Golf Club to celebrate! The weather all week was terrible, with a hurricane blowing in on Thursday and Friday but by the big day we had clear, blue skies. Shannon and Taylor are definitely a memorable couple. They're both charismatic, the kind of people that you just like right away. Getting ready for a wedding is chaotic, but Shannon seemed calm through it all. As they prepare to leave Florida and start their new life in Texas together I know that they'll handle it all with a good sense of humor. Doesn't this cake from Goldie's Goodies Bakery look almost too good to eat! Taylor and his mom. The wedding was the first time in two years that all of her children were in one place so it was definitely a special day for more than one reason! Pebble Creek has some really beautiful scenery, Even though hurricane Hermine made sure the grass was wet were still had plenty of gorgeous options for photos. It was a surprise to me and to the guests when Shannon and Taylor made their entrance wearing Captain America and Spiderman masks before beginning their first dance. There were few dry eyes in the room when Shannon and her father shared a father/daughter dance. Vendors:
